Credit Restoration – What’s the big deal?

There are hundreds, if not thousands, of companies out there marketing themselves as credit “repair” experts. Make no mistake, many of them are not what they claim to be. Even worse, some of them are deceiving consumers with misleading, unethical, and even illegal business practices.

Their way of doing business is to go into your credit file and DISPUTE EVERYTHING and DELETE as much as possible.  In the end, this does way more harm than good. In fact, your score could (and likely will) drop if you start shooting big holes in your credit file like this.

Why will your score tank?

Think about it this way… If you graduated from college with a 2.5 GPA, your ears might perk up if someone tells you they can help you boost that GPA up to a 3.0. It would mean better job prospects and better salaries, right?

So, this person goes through your college transcript and starts erasing every grade below a B. Your GPA goes up to a 2.8… 2.9… 3.0… success!

But wait… English 101, US History, and College Algebra are deleted from your record. And so is your DEGREE! Those courses were IMPORTANT and REQUIRED to validate your diploma!!

Now imagine that person goes back into your transcript and instead of deleting all those C’s and D’s, he changes them all to A’s. Your GPA soars… and you keep your degree!

That’s the same way the NCES Credit Restoration program works (and why we are so different from so many other folks out there).

Other so-called credit repair companies just dive into your credit file and start deleting anything and everything they can that might be bringing your score down. In the end, you may not have anything of value left on your report to provide a score at all – good or bad!

Instead of deleting… NCES will RESTORE your credit file. Sure, some items will be deleted – like collection accounts past the statute of limitations or information that doesn’t belong on your credit report in the first place.

But important records (like that credit card you paid on time for 6 years before losing you job), we preserve. Just like those important college classes, you need your credit history to get a good score. By having the account reclassified as “paid as agreed”, you rehabilitate that part of your score AND keep those valuable 6 years of credit history.

What makes NCES different?

  1. NCES is recognized by the federal government as a reputable credit education and restoration services provider.
  2. Our customers see results quickly, often in as little as 2 weeks.
  3. We charge customers a one-time, low fee for our services. Many other so-called credit repair companies charge a monthly fee. (No wonder they are in no hurry to get the work done!)
  4. In addition to credit restoration services, we provide free educational resources to help our customers maintain their good credit for life.
  5. The NCES proprietary process preserves all good credit history and reverses negative information instead of just deleting it.

But, don’t just take our word for it. The proof is in the PEOPLE… Here are 3 customer success stories we’d love to share.

“NCES operated on my credit reports and the results were utterly amazing! I must admit I had my doubts, but when I received my results, I was flabbergasted. My score rose over 150 points on all three credit reports. I am a single Mom with kids and I just closed on my first house and bought a new economy car with no money down and a low interest rate. Thanks NCES!   –  Ms. Alexander (California)

“I am an extremely satisfied customer who did not believe this level of credit restoration and education was available anywhere. National Credit Educational Services helped me to obtain credit cards with big limits and successfully refinance my car. All for one affordable fee. That’s super cool.”  –  Ms. Jones (Chicago, IL)

“I had collection agencies harassing me every day and was served papers to appear in court. I was ready to do a bankruptcy and a friend told me to call NCES first for advice. I avoided the bankruptcy and didn’t have to appear in court because the debt was way past the statute of limitation in the state of Florida. My credit score rocketed over 100 points in the first 40 days using NCES. Thanks so much to the great staff!    –  Mrs. Parker (St. Petersburg, FL)
